Welcome to my personal webpage. I am an Associate Professor at the University of Pisa.

Biography

I was previously a Lovett Instructor at Rice University, working under Prof. Mike Wolf. I received my Ph.D. in June 2018 at the University of Luxembourg, supervised by Prof. Jean-Marc Schlenker. My thesis on anti-de Sitter geometry was awarded the 2019 Franco Tricerri Prize .

My research interests include differential geometry, Teichmüller theory, anti-de Sitter and hyperbolic geometry, Higgs bundles, simplicial volume, and bounded cohomology. My paper Polynomial quadratic differentials on the complex plane and light-like polygons in the Einstein Universe (Adv. Math. 352 C, 2019) received the 2019 Mario Baldassarri Prize for the best paper in geometry, algebra or number theory, published by an Italian mathematician under the age of 30.

On this page you can find some of my research and teaching activities. To see my full CV, click here.

Funding

This work is suported by the INdAM project - Starting Grant - "Geometric Limits in Higher Teichmüller theory". I also received a NSF grant DMS-2005501 in 2021.
